Arrived at the beach with a S wind solid 30 knots cross-shore, the good guys and gal were out. Decided it was too much for a 4.2 and waited. Massive squall with hail and a huge windshift to west. Then died a bit so rigged 5m. Died soome more so was a struggle through waves thought it was going to be a non starter but wind picked up. Managed a few runs, only 2 of us out. Made a gybe waves very tricky, big, breaking a long way out with the odd wave coming from a different direction. Not out for long. Wind blew up again to 30 knots, bloody hard to get board on car. Like my waist harness.
